National Evaluation Platform (NEP)

• Designed qualitative study to characterize data visualization interpretation capacity and preferences among reproductive, maternal, newborn, child health and nutrition Tanzanian government decision-makers.
• Developed data visualization curriculum and R programming data visualization exercises used in all four NEP pilot countries (Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, and Tanzania).
• Facilitated workshop in data analysis and communication. Oversaw and developed communication and dissemination activities. ​

Center for Public Health and Human Rights (November 2011 – January 2012)

• Conducted a systematic review of harm reduction and HIV prevention, care, and treatment for drug users in China. This review was done on behalf of the United Nations Reference Group on HIV and Injecting Drug Use.
• Acknowledged in the publication “What has been achieved in HIV prevention, treatment and care for people who inject drugs, 2010-2012? A review of six highest burden countries,” published in the International Journal of Drug Policy in August 2013.

Center for Indigenous Health (June 2011 – August 2011)

• Maintained survey database for a five-year study to assess the impact of pneumococcal conjugate vaccine on pneumococcal disease among Navajo and White Mountain Apache populations.

• Analyzed the impact and quality of aid response in Haiti and Pakistan from the perspective of those affected by the January 12, 2010 and summer 2010 floods, respectively. ​
